Chicken Tikka Masala

Yield: ~5 qts

Method

  1. Combine cumin, salt, cayenne, cinnamon, turmeric, garam masala, curry powder and set aside.
  2. Melt butter, then add onions. Cook until softened.
  3. Add garlic. Cook until fragrant.
  4. Add spice mix. Cook until fragrant.
  5. Add tomato sauce. Simmer for 10 mins.
  6. Add heavy cream, paprika, and sugar.
  7. Add cubed chicken. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  8. Simmer until chicken is cooked, about 40 mins.
  9. Adjust salt and sugar levels as needed.
  10. Serve.
